    About the role:

    As a Technical Product Manager with an API specialization, your role is pivotal in steering the development of our API solutions in alignment with the visionary concept of payabl.one's wallet model. Your primary focus will be on creating and enhancing APIs that serve as the backbone for critical functions, including balance management, pay-in/out operations, foreign exchange, and card issuance.

    The ideal candidate for this role will bring a robust background in product management, with a specific emphasis on the API ecosystem, particularly within the financial services domain. You will be responsible for shaping the long-term product vision and evolution, as well as establishing clear priorities for our dedicated team. Your expertise in API development will be instrumental in driving the success of our innovative financial services platform, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional API solutions that meet the unique needs of our users. 


    Responsibilities: 

    • Identify stakeholders’ problems and build scalable solutions that bring value.
    • Set goals, track metrics, and use data as your tool to make the right decision and support your position.
    • Spearhead the design, development, and optimization of APIs that empower critical financial operations, including balance management, pay-in/out processes, foreign exchange capabilities, and card issuance functionalities.
    • Develop the roadmap and requirements based on your communication with stakeholders and prioritize accordingly.
    • Lead the engineering team and deliver according to expectations.
    • Align our API solutions with the overarching wallet concept of payabl.one, ensuring that our technical products harmoniously support and enhance the user experience and financial activities within the platform.

    Requirements

    • A combination of 3+ years in a Product manager / Product owner role and at least 2 years’ experience working with API-based products.
    • A university degree in computer science and information technology or a related field, such as mathematics would be an advantage.
    • In-depth knowledge of the payments industry and financial services.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of how online marketplaces operate.
    • Strong analytical skills, ability to get insights from data and act on it.
    • Understanding market trends and driving product development accordingly.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, both external and internal.
    • Leadership skills, ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members to build a high-performing team.
    • Excellent stakeholders’ management skills.
    • Exceptional verbal and communication skills. Fluent English.
