Growth Product Manager (Payment Gateway)

As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts. With offices located in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Limassol, and London, we are currently undergoing significant expansion and are looking for a Growth Product MAnager to join our team. This role can be in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, or London, it can also be remote anywhere in Europe.

This role is about:  

Our payment gateway is at the core of our business processing millions of transactions daily. It needs to evolve according to our plans and contemporary technology standards. To remain competitive and attract new business the gateway needs to scale, adopt new payment products, support new integrations and provide solutions to the benefit of our clients that solve their problems.

You will:  

• Define the product strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with the senior management team and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives.
• Drive the development of innovative products and services, establishing new unique selling propositions in key markets and ensuring differentiation from competitors, particularly in new payment acceptance types.
• Maintain comprehensive visibility of product operations and growth, facilitating timely data-informed decisions across the organization.
• Develop and manage the end-to-end process for collecting business requirements, incorporating inputs from stakeholders and ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment.
• Stay abreast of the merchant acquiring market, conducting competitive analysis and ad hoc market research to maintain an excellent understanding of industry dynamics.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with payment card industry standards, playing a key role in properly qualifying compliance requirements.

What we need: 

• 3+ years in a Product manager / Product owner role in payments domain;
• Exceptional knowledge of card payment processing products gained through working for a PSP or an acquiring bank with a proven track record of launching and maintaining payment products;
• Deep understanding of a contemporary payments ecosystem and especially card products, payment processing protocols and standards such as EMV, ISO, PCI DSS etc.;
• Understanding of the specific rules, regulations, and compliance requirements set by Visa and Mastercard to ensure that the payment gateway remains compliant with their guidelines;
• Understanding of market trends and ability to use insights while developing your product;
• Experience working in cross-functional team and excellent stakeholders management skills;
• Leadership skills, ability to build a high performing team;
• Proficiency in technical project management tools and methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor the development and implementation of new payment processing features, functionalities, and enhancements;
• Detailed thinker with an ability to manage the workload and prioritize;
• Experience in Python programming language is a plus;
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills. Fluent English.
