    About the role:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Product Manager to lead and oversee the development and enhancement of our merchant checkout experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the payments industry, with a focus on optimizing the checkout journey for merchants and their customers. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, payment processing systems, and user-centric design principles.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the merchant checkout experience, with a clear focus on enhancing UX optimization and increasing conversion rates.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of conversion funnels and user behavior on the checkout page to identify pain points and opportunities for improvements.
    • Implement A/B testing and user testing methodologies to validate design changes and product enhancements.
    • Create a mechanism to recover failed transactions and work towards increasing payment recovery rates.
    • Lead a cross-functional team, including product designers, engineers and data analysts.
    • Work closely with other teams in the company, understand how your scopes are interconnected, resolve dependencies and deliver value to our merchants and clients.
    • Define clear product requirements and specifications and take care of the documentation. 
    • Set goals, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Ensure that the merchant checkout solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols, including PCI DSS and other relevant compliance requirements.
    • Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders to showcase the value and functionality of the merchant checkout. 


    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in product management with a focus on optimizations within the payments checkout experience.
    • Knowledge of card payment processing products gained through working for a PSP or an acquiring bank with a proven track record of launching and maintaining payment products.
    • Deep understanding of a contemporary payments ecosystem and especially card products, payment processing protocols such as PCI DSS etc.
    • Expertise in implementing A/B testing methodologies and user testing.
    • Be up to date with the latest UX design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure checkout experience remains intuitive, seamless, and optimized for maximum conversions.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team and excellent stakeholders’ management skills. 
    • Leadership skills, ability to build a high performing team.
    • Exceptional verbal and communication skills. Fluent English.

    This role can be in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, or London, it can also be remote anywhere in Europe.
