    What you can expect from us:

    You will be part of the “External Communications” team at METRO AG and will assist with maintaining METRO’s storytelling page (www.metroag.de/stories), external communications tasks and branding (Give-away Shop).

    We look forward to your contribution in the following areas:

    • Uploading content to the content management system (Sitecore)
    • Image research and editing
    • Editorial support in the creation and coordination of content
    • Support with the research and editing of content for external communications (including news, briefings, press releases, presentations, etc.)
    • Support with event planning and organisation (e.g. press conferences, media briefings, internal meetings, etc.)
    • Supporting project management and other administrative tasks within METRO AG’s corporate communications (e.g. giveaways)
    • Supporting day-to-day operations depending on current priorities

    Qualifications

    What you bring to the role:

    • A university degree, preferably in communication studies, media studies or a related field
    • High level of commitment and an independent and structured approach to work
    • Excellent written and spoken German and English are essential
    • Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, highly creative writing style combined with strong implementation skills and a keen eye for quality
    • Initial editorial experience
    • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Basic knowledge of and interest in image editing, website creation/HTML and working with content management systems
