Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/x)

As our Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling developers to deliver business value while ensuring security and cost efficiency of the product. You will ensure our team provides “Infrastructure as a Service” as a main product, and support development through extensive documentation and self-service capabilities.

The Role

• You will help us develop CDK frameworks and libraries for software development team, whilst focusing on documentation and self-service
• You will facilitate development teams working with cloud infrastructure, and help them improve technical setup
• You will be responsible for operating shared cloud infrastructure
• You will actively participate in the engineering decision-making process by engaging in discussions, contributing to, and submitting Request for Comments (RFCs).
• We are a team, you will be part of knowledge sharing, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our product and customer experience.

• Cloud: Amazon Web Services
• Compute: ECS, Lambda
• IaaC: CDK with Typescript, Python
• CI/CD: AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins
• Observability: Datadog, OpenSearch, CloudWatch

Your Profile

• You have a strong knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure (specifically Networking, Compute and Storage services)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Code tools (ideally CDK), and experience working with Linux
• You are able to write production ready code - preferably in Typescript or Python, other languages can be considered as well
• You know how to write extensive user documentation and tailor your presentations to less experienced audience
• You are always eager to explore new knowledge domains and make product decisions in uncertain situations
