Mid-level JavaScript Developer (payable.ONE)

payabl.one division responsible for uniting our services and bringing synergy to our customers by offering seamless experience regardless of the services (online payments, offline payments and/ or banking) or channel (UI or API) they opt for. Within this division, your focus will be on our customer facing platform, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend components and features using Next.js, React, and other modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs and databases.
• Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and performance monitoring.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Next.js).
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and browser compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay informed about emerging tools and technologies to enhance the frontend capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of test automation projects.
• Strong communication skills (upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English) and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
