In this role, you will take the lead in developing high-tech software solutions for the semiconductor industry. You will work on complex and challenging problems, collaborating closely with cross-domain experts to translate requirements into innovative, scalable solutions. As a technical leader, you will guide colleagues in leveraging the technology stack effectively, while also engaging with customers and stakeholders to ensure system-level understanding and alignment. As Lead Software Developer, you will oversee the design and development of software for semiconductor systems, ensuring technical excellence and collaboration across teams. Key accountabilities include:
· Developing and optimizing software solutions for complex semiconductor applications.
· Translating domain requirements into robust software implementations in collaboration with cross-functional experts.
· Analyzing dependencies within complex systems and communicating findings clearly to colleagues and stakeholders.
· Guiding customers through technical solutions while balancing autonomy with accountability.
· Supporting and mentoring team members in maximizing the use of the technology stack.
· Contributing to continuous improvement through the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong technical foundation and proven experience in software engineering, ideally in semiconductor or related fields. Essential qualifications and skills include:
· Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· Solid professional experience in software development, ideally with C# and .NET Core 6.
· Strong knowledge of software architectures, design principles, and practical implementation.
· Experience with interface and communication technologies such as Ethernet and USB.
· Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices/tools.
· Ideally, prior experience in the semiconductor environment.
· Excellent communication skills in both German and English, spoken and written.
· Strong problem-solving mindset, structured thinking, and ability to mentor peers.
