Role

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate Lead Web Developer to join our fast-growing team at Moneturn.

In this role, you’ll work hands-on across a wide range of projects, from building backend APIs and data infrastructure to crafting and optimising frontend WordPress websites. You’ll play a key part in unlocking the full potential of our platforms and shaping the way our systems are designed and operated.

We’re looking for someone with deep technical expertise, a love for solving complex problems, and a passion for building high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities

Lead web development efforts at Moneturn, driving projects from concept to deployment.
Design innovative solutions to tackle new and evolving challenges.
Establish frameworks and architecture to create scalable, stable development foundations.
Write, test, and maintain highly performant, clean, and reliable code.
Collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and improvements.
Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
Take a hands-on approach to every aspect of your work, from ideation to implementation.

Requirements

Experience working with a modern, component driven framework (i.e. React)
Experience building responsive websites utilising a framework such as TailwindCSS
Have knowledge and experience working with Typescript
Experience working with Bigquery and SQL
Strong knowledge of the latest developments in the Javascript language and community
Experience working with WordPress and building themes & plugins

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience
