    You will be the lead of our engineering team and make sure we stay at the forefront of battery recycling! Together with a diverse team of industry experts, you manage a smooth scale-up of our recycling process, ensure project success, and develop innovative ideas to constantly improve our business.     Tasks

    🎯 Your role and responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the Founders to align our tech strategy with company goals and ensure its implementation
    • Provide strong leadership to a multi-disciplinary team in attaining its objectives and goals while fostering a collaborative and result-driven environment
    • Plan and manage projects, providing clear goals, timelines and efficiently allocated resources
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline work processes, enhancing clarity and accountability within the team
    • Drive continuous improvement by implementing enhancements in the team architecture, tools and processes for increased speed and efficiency
    • Prove your effective communication by regularly updating the CTO on key issues related to people, products and processes with concise reportings
    • Support in fundraising activities and assist in investor relations
    • Foster a culture of innovation and growth, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and skillsets

    Requirements

    🧰 What you should bring along

    • Qualification: M.Sc. and/or PhD in any engineering field, preferably chemical engineering or metallurgy - this will help you understand our technology quickly!
    • Experience: First experience (1-2 years) in leading and managing technical teams, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
    • Project Management: A track record of successfully driving engineering projects from conception to completion with a strong focus on KPI´s and target metrics
    • People Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and align teams towards common goals, dealing with change and adversity
    • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You will receive a lot of responsibility from day one, gaining deep insights into various parts of the company. Unleash free potentials and facilitate growth
    • Passion: A strong passion for sustainability and driving positive environmental impact through innovation
    • Pluspoints: High level understanding of AI in hardware companies and proficient German skills are plus points
