Accounts Payable Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team.The Accounts Payable Accountant is a key member to the team and will have both day-to-day and ongoing influence on transactions and processes, ensuring we stay on track, report on time and accurately.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Review, seek approval for, and book incoming invoices across Talon.One’s 4 entities
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Validate reimbursement requests for employee expenses
• Handle bank movements and bookings in DATEV
• Maintain updated vendor database across tools
• Coordinate communication and information flow with tax advisors
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Configure approval policies in our various tools.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or tax consultancy
• Strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS, German commercial and tax laws; ASC 606 knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in DATEV, MS Office, and potentially other relevant software like Spendesk
• Team player with a hands-on, responsible approach to work
• Good command of German and English
• Holistic and independent thinker with a solution-oriented mindset
• Meticulous, structured, and precise work ethic.
