    The role includes

    • Accounts Payable Management

      • Proficient in handling Accounts Payable tasks using Datev & Moss systems.
      • Efficiently process and post incoming invoices into the Accounting Systems.
      • Ensure adherence to company policies while managing supplier and personnel expenses.
      • Day-to-day administration of the DATEV and Moss platforms.
    • Financial Reconciliation

      • Manage the posting and reconciliation of credit card statements.
      • Conduct thorough reviews of the Invoices Receipts register to maintain accuracy.
    • Bank Reconciliation

      • Expertise in reviewing and posting bank statements to the accounting system.
      • Ensure the resolution of any unresolved items as part of the month-end process.
      • Validate bank reconciliations to the ledger and obtain approval from the line manager.
    • Payroll Administration

      • Proficient in posting approved German Payroll files into Datev.
      • Handle payroll postings for foreign countries in Datev with precise calculations.
      • Maintain and update personnel files in compliance with organizational standards.
    • Government Compliance

      • Ensure timely and accurate submissions of monthly VAT Declarations, ZM Meldung, and Deutsche Bundesbank Meldung (Z4).
      • Calculate and report Artists' Social Insurance KSK contributions.
    • Annual Accounts and Audit Support

      • Assist with Aktive Rechnungsabgrenzung (aRAP) and provide support during general audits.

    The successful candidate should have

    • Experience working with core accounting activities.
    • Familiarity with standard accounting systems.
    • Knowledge of Datev highly advantageous.
    • Good knowledge of Excel and the ability to use Excel functions.
    • Professional written and spoken fluency in English. German highly beneficial.
    • Proven communication and business partnering skills to work across the organisation.
    • Dexterity and critical thinking skills, with a can do and positive can-do attitude, to work in a growing and transitional environment.
    • Ability to deal with sensitive data with an elevated level of sensitivity.
