People Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Talon.One is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic People Operations Manager to join our growing People and Culture team. As a People Operations Manager, you will make sure we deliver a world-class employee experience. Together with other People & Culture team members, you drive a wide range of People & Culture initiatives covering the entire employee lifecycle from people administration, and payroll management, to compliance execution.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Act as the primary contact for the People Operations team, with a primary focus on employees located in Germany
• Drive our pre-onboarding and onboarding process - make sure our new team members feel integrated and welcome from day one
• Draft employment contracts, amendments, certificates, confirmation letters and other documents as required
• Assist employees with relocation and immigration processes in collaboration with our external partners
• Support employees with inquiries regarding time-off management and entitlement, e.g. sick leave, maternity & parental leave according to local regulations and company policies
• Assist employees with questions regarding their benefits enrolment
• Prepare payroll data input and liaise with our external vendor, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records to ensure compliance
• Use our HRIS effectively to extract data and create reports
• Engage, develop and educate employees and people managers around HR policies and programs
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 3+ years of experience in HR Operations ideally in a fast growing environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of operational best practices and compliance regulations
• A self-starter attitude - Proactive, eager to learn and develop, collaborative and approachable
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in German (C1 level) is highly desirable
• Proficient in HRIS (experience using BambooHR is a plus), showcasing the ability to leverage technology for HR solutions
• Skilled in using spreadsheets for generating comprehensive reports.
