Tasks
You’ll own the financial backbone of a fast-scaling, ops-heavy company. Every month you close, every report you produce, and every process you build will directly support our 3x revenue trajectory. Full ownership from day one.
- Accounting & Process Build-Out: Take ownership of our bookkeeping and accounting infrastructure - build it right, then make it faster.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for the parent entity and subsidiaries, including consolidation support.
- Cash & Liquidity: Monitor cashflow daily and feed into liquidity planning to keep the machine running.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners (tax advisors, auditors, banks) to keep everything tight.
- Digitisation: Lead the charge on automating and improving financial controls and workflows.
No two months will look the same. One week you’re closing the books, the next you’re stress-testing our runway assumptions or structuring a new subsidiary. You’ll operate with direct access to decisions - no waiting for approvals.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance - you’ve closed books and built reports, not just watched others do it.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles (HGB/IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment - start-up, VC, PE, or consulting background is a strong plus.
- Sharp analytical mind and obsessive attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
- Fully fluent in German is a must (C2); strong English for cross-functional work.
