VP/Director of Finance (f/m/d)*

YOUR MISSION

As our global VP/Director of Finance at Parloa you play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting our global expansion efforts 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Financial Leadership:
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and contribute to key decision-making processes.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Identify potential financial risks and develop proactive measures to mitigate them and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• Strong expertise to be sparring partner to our expert teams in Tax, Accounting, Liquidity management and Treasury
• Support the CFO/COO to be a key point of contact for investors by providing regular updates and financial reports.
• Participate in fundraising activities and contribute to the development of investor relations strategies.
• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support business planning and decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Setting up a value driven data organization and infrastructure
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Be role model for servant leadership
• Ensure the team's alignment with organizational goals and values.

• International Expansion:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful expansion into the US market.
• Navigate and address financial considerations associated with international growth.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or a related field; MBA, CPA or CFA are preferred
• Experienced in HGB, GAAP, IFRS accounting practice and consolidation
• Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in high-growth, venture backed Scaleups.
• Extensive knowledge of SaaS business models and experience with international expansion, particularly in the US market.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing finance team.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ideally experienced in introducing a group wide ERP System (e.g. Netsuite)
