  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior / Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Blockchain) in Europe or Latam.

    As a Senior/Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and scaling distributed blockchain infrastructure. You will collaborate with globally distributed teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of decentralized systems. The role involves working on cutting-edge blockchain technologies, contributing to open-source projects, and supporting validators and multisig operations. You will proactively identify and resolve system issues, design scalable solutions, and document operational practices. Your work will directly impact the seamless operation of blockchain networks and the tools that power the Internet of Value.     Accountabilities

    • Maintain and operate blockchain infrastructure, including validators, remote signers, and multisig systems.
    • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement reliable solutions.
    • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps workflows for scalable, maintainable deployments.
    • Manage workload orchestration with Kubernetes and other orchestration tools to ensure high availability and performance.
    • Contribute to technical documentation, including system architecture, operational procedures, and incident reports.
    • Analyze distributed systems and software design to propose multiple solutions and operational improvements.
    • Mentor and support team members, sharing expertise in blockchain operations, reliability, and distributed systems.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience running blockchain infrastructure, particularly validators and multisig setups.
    • Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.) and GitOps workflows.
    • Expertise in Kubernetes and workload orchestration solutions.
    • Solid understanding of distributed systems, software design, and operational best practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
    • Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to take initiative and prioritize team success.
    • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response processes for complex infrastructure.
