We are seeking an experienced Onsite Support Technician (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main for an international, long-term IT service project.
You will be responsible for providing on-site technical user support and ensuring smooth IT operations through a professional walk-in center as well as traditional on-site support.
Tasks
- Management of the walk-in center (drop-off/pick-up kiosk) and provision of on-site support services
- First- and second-level support for users regarding Windows Client, MS Office, and standard software
- Remote support for users and technicians
- Endpoint and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Staging and image loading, as well as managed deployments
- Conference room and meeting room support (audio/video equipment, connections, etc.)
- Asset clearing and documentation in the asset management system
- Coordination of hardware repairs with external service providers
- Warehousing & logistics for shipping and remote locations
Requirements
- Experience as an on-site technician or in hardware and software support
- Strong skills in troubleshooting Windows client environments (on-premises)
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure topics (e.g., networks, cabling, patching)
- Strong service orientation, ability to work in a team, and a proactive approach
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1); German skills are a plus
- Willingness to work shifts and be on call
- Valid work permit/visa for Germany
- ITIL certification is a plus
