    Who will you be working with?

    You will be part of the global Friction & Rubber Group within Wabtec Corporation, a leading provider of friction and elastomer solutions for the rail, industrial, and powersports industries. The team operates in an international, cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with commercial, engineering, and operations stakeholders. You will work with global customers including major rail operators and vehicle manufacturers, contributing to safety-critical and sustainability-driven solutions such as Green and Blue Friction technologies.

    How will you make a difference?

    As part of the Friction & Rubber Group, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and positioning the full portfolio in competitive, tender-driven environments. You will lead strategic customer engagement and pre-tender activities while ensuring alignment with the “One Wabtec” commercial approach.In this role, you will support business objectives by developing market strategies, managing high-level commercial negotiations, and ensuring disciplined execution across pricing, contracts, and delivery. You will collaborate across regions and functions, providing regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership.

    What will your typical day look like?

    • Drive profitable sales growth and deliver against business targets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
    • Lead strategic pre-tender activities and customer positioning
    • Represent the full Friction & Rubber portfolio in line with the “One Wabtec” approach
    • Ensure disciplined sales execution, including pricing and contract compliance
    • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across functions and regions

    Qualifications

    What do we want to know about you?

    • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
    • Several years of experience in senior sales roles within industrial or technology-driven environments
    • Proven track record in key account management and complex commercial negotiations
    • Experience working in international, cross-functional environments
    • Strong strategic thinking and customer-focused mindset
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Fluency in German & English
