We are seeking a Swift Engineer for our esteemed client, Starface.
The responsibilities include:
- Ongoing development and maintenance of an existing macOS desktop application with VoIP and video chat. The application is built in Swift, and elements for client-server communication are integrated using Objective-C.
- Planning and executing the implementation of new features through agile processes in an experienced development team.
- Ensuring continuous quality assurance throughout the development process by conducting code reviews and software tests.
- Engaging in close collaboration with developers on other platforms.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing macOS or iOS applications in Swift, relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Xcode and Git.
- Confident usage of Apple platform technologies such as AppKit, UIKit, Grand Central Dispatch, Core Foundation, AVFoundation, XPC Services, and CocoaPods.
- Strong knowledge of REST and HTTP.
- Experience in C/C++, XMPP, and SIP.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in challenging situations.
- Fluency in both German (C1) and English.
