Senior Python/PHP Developer (Gateway Growth)

In the Payment Gateway team, you will be part of a team of experts, their sole mission is to ensure Payment Gateway stability and performance. The Payment Gateway team monitors, analyzes and investigates the main pain points that affect our clients in Production and Sandbox. 

Your Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Perl, PHP and Python programming language. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement new features. 
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into existing systems to enhance functionality and usability. 
• Optimize code for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless operation of backend systems. 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and methodologies. 
• Participate in complex technical projects from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing and launch into production. 
• Be hands-on and contribute to the implementation but offer technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers. 
• We launch fast and iterate often. Concretely, this means that within your first few weeks, you will bring live functionalities that impact many merchants and end-customers.  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience with PHP/Python. 
• Familiarity with Perl or willing to learn it. 
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. 
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 

• Outstanding attention to details 
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level 
• Experience in Fintech industry (nice to have)
