Engineering Manager - (Analytics Engineering) (f/m/d)*

YOUR MISSION

As Engineering Manager for the Analytics Foundations team (f/m/d)*, you will lead your team to design and develop Parloa's data warehouse from scratch. The data warehouse will power Parloa's data products as well as analytics for decision intelligence. The data models and tools you provide will make an impact to transform the entire customer service industry leveraging data. You will make a difference for your engineers by supporting their growth and motivating them to solve complex challenges as a team.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Hire and lead a team of 4-5 analytics engineers and product analysts, building a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
Provide a strong vision for the analytics at Parloa to empower our company to leverage insights in our product, for customer success and for internal decision intelligence
Empower your team take ownership of building and improving the data warehouse at Parloa, including data models, data pipelines and tooling and standards for data discovery, data governance and data visualization
Act as the technical product owner for the data warehouse, anticipating and prioritizing the needs of users effectively in compliance with data governance and protection requirements
Develop your reports via effective feedback and providing them with growth opportunities

Our Tech stack (Data): Microsoft Azure, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, MongoDB, Redis (more technologies to be added as we build our data platform)

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

7+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data analyst and/or technical lead
3+ years of experience as a people manager
Track record of designing and implementing data warehouses in accordance with legal requirements with a clear focus on data quality and observability
Experience with the cloud data platforms
Experience in leading large and complex technical projects (1 year+ roadmap)
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

Experience with building customer-facing data/insights products is a plus
