We are looking for our Utilities Lead M/F/X for our Greenfield Project in Germany. You will be responsible to the project lead for all aspects of the project within limits assigned by the project lead.
This is a remote role for the first months (until beginning of July 2025), where you will be working from home. Afterwards, you will work with the project team on-site. You will report to the Engineering Lead. Join this exciting assignment for a two-years contract with opportunity to prolong or obtain a permanent contract.
Tasks
- Standards Compliance: You ensure all McCain standards are understood and followed by consultants.
- Consultant Coordination: You utilize outside consultants, ensuring that all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
- Project Design: You ensure lessons learned are incorporated into project design.
- Stakeholder Communication: You interface with OEMs, project personnel, and consultants to ensure all process design parameters are met.
- Support: You ensure module owners are properly supported throughout the design phases of the project. This will include setting expectations, reviewing progress, and assigning additional resources as required.
- Design Review: Together with the project lead, you ensure design review coordination and participation.
- Clash Detection: You lead McCain representation for the clash detection meetings.
- Project Lead Interface: You interface for the Project Lead.
- Scheduling: In conjunction with the project lead, you prioritize and schedule design efforts to meet both the design deliverables and the overall project timeline.
Requirements
- Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in environmental management, sustainability, environmental projects, and program management.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of utility engineering, including water treatment, wastewater systems, energy supply, and air conditioning systems.
- System Integration: Proven experience in integrating various utility systems into a cohesive overall system.
- Team Coordination: Skilled in leading and coordinating installation teams and maintenance personnel.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex technical problems in utility engineering.
- Innovation: Creative in developing new solutions and process improvements.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific requirements and challenges in food production is advantageous.
- Regulations and Standards: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in utility engineering and environmental management in Germany.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) for planning and designing utility systems and using monitoring and analysis software to track equipment performance.
