We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Working Student to join our Transactional Accounting team in Berlin. In this role, you will support day-to-day subledger operations for our German entities and gain hands-on experience in transactional accounting. You will work closely with experienced accounting professionals in a modern, international environment and grow your skills over time.

What you will do

Support daily Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including invoice verification, basic coding, reconciliations, and vendor communication under supervision

Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks such as payment allocation, dunning support, and customer master data maintenance

Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing in our ERP system (NetSuite)

Help maintain proper documentation and internal controls to support accounting accuracy and compliance

Support month-end closing activities, including subledger checks and basic reconciliations

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Procurement and Customer Service) to help resolve transactional discrepancies

Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team

What you should bring

Currently enrolled student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

First exposure to accounting through internships, coursework, or working student roles is an advantage but not mandatory

Basic understanding of accounting principles; interest in German GAAP (HGB) is a plus

Interest in learning and working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is an advantage but not required

Good MS Excel skills and willingness to continuously learn

High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive mindset

Fluency in English; German skills are an advantage
