As a Senior Software Engineer with React Native expertise, you will play a pivotal role in launching and shaping a cross-platform mobile application that extends the company’s healthcare ecosystem. Working closely with UX and backend teams, you will define architecture, establish best practices, and ensure seamless integration with existing platforms. This role offers the opportunity to influence both the technical foundation and long-term evolution of a mission-driven product. You will be part of a distributed, remote-first engineering team spanning multiple countries, collaborating on cutting-edge solutions that combine software, AI, and hardware. Accountabilities

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading technical decisions on architecture, project setup, pipelines, and software design for the mobile app.
Establishing best practices for cross-platform mobile development, including testing, automation, and release processes.
Implementing features primarily in React Native while contributing to other parts of the technology stack as needed.
Producing clear technical documentation and promoting knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Ensuring smooth integration of the mobile application with existing backend systems and platforms.
Collaborating with UX, frontend, and backend teams to deliver a high-quality, user-focused product.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should have:

A broad background in software engineering with a proven track record of project delivery and technical documentation.
Strong expertise in mobile development with hands-on experience in architecting and delivering cross-platform applications, ideally using React Native.
Experience working on customer-focused B2C products or services.
Effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, particularly in a remote-first environment.
Familiarity with modern software stacks including React, TypeScript, C#, and Python is a plus.
Ability to contribute to both technical and strategic discussions, driving quality and efficiency across the project lifecycle.
