This is an exciting opportunity for a backend-focused full-stack developer eager to take ownership and shape modern digital products from architecture to production. You’ll join a small, highly skilled technical team working on scalable web solutions for marketing and e-commerce clients across Europe. Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain price comparison platforms and other core customer-facing applications from scratch to production.
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, SQL, and Python (or Rust) while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Deliver seamless, high-quality frontend experiences with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Shape system architecture and API design, optimizing for scalability and clarity.
- Automate infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring processes using Docker and AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently using logs, monitoring tools, and tracing methods.
- Collaborate closely with a small team of senior engineers to improve workflow automation and development efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong expertise in backend development with Node.js and SQL.
- Proven experience in frontend development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of architecture and system design trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS for deploying and managing applications.
- Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1–C2) and an open, empathetic mindset.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive approach, with the ability to balance quality and efficiency.
- Willingness to learn Python or Rust and continuously expand technical knowledge.
- Experience with SEO, AI coding tools, or UI/UX awareness is a plus.
