This is an exciting opportunity for a backend-focused full-stack developer eager to take ownership and shape modern digital products from architecture to production. You’ll join a small, highly skilled technical team working on scalable web solutions for marketing and e-commerce clients across Europe. The role combines backend excellence with creative frontend delivery, focusing on automation, clean code, and performance. You’ll thrive in an autonomous environment with structured processes, no unnecessary bureaucracy, and the freedom to make meaningful technical decisions.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain price comparison platforms and other core customer-facing applications from scratch to production.
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, SQL, and Python (or Rust) while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Deliver seamless, high-quality frontend experiences with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Shape system architecture and API design, optimizing for scalability and clarity.
- Automate infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring processes using Docker and AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently using logs, monitoring tools, and tracing methods.
- Collaborate closely with a small team of senior engineers to improve workflow automation and development efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong expertise in backend development with Node.js and SQL.
- Proven experience in frontend development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of architecture and system design trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS for deploying and managing applications.
- Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1–C2) and an open, empathetic mindset.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive approach, with the ability to balance quality and efficiency.
- Willingness to learn Python or Rust and continuously expand technical knowledge.
- Experience with SEO, AI coding tools, or UI/UX awareness is a plus.
