Imagine a world where every small business has the power to thrive. That's the world we're building at iwoca. Small businesses aren't just statistics – they're the heartbeat of our communities, the character of our high streets, and the engine of our economy. Since 2012, we've revolutionised how these businesses access finance, turning what was once a lengthy, frustrating process into something remarkable: funding that's fast, flexible, and actually works for modern businesses.

Our impact speaks for itself: we've provided billions in funding to over 150,000 businesses across Europe, making us one of the continent's leading fintech innovators. But we're just getting started. Our mission? To empower one million businesses with the financial tools they deserve.

We combine cutting-edge technology and data science with genuine human understanding to make finance feel less like a barrier and more like a superpower. Whether it's managing cash flow or seizing unexpected opportunities, we ensure businesses get the funds they need – often within minutes.

    The role

As Team Lead Broker & Partner Operations, you will be a coach, process manager, and strategic leader in a key role for iwoca's growth in Germany. This role offers you the unique opportunity to make an impact, enjoy autonomy, and continuously grow.

Our Broker & Partner Operations team is the central interface for collaboration with financing intermediaries, broker platforms, and strategic partners. They ensure that our processes – from application to disbursement – are efficient, customer-focused, and scalable, while maintaining close relationships with our most important external partners.

The team consists of motivated, solution-oriented colleagues who do their best every day to provide small businesses with capital quickly and easily. The team works closely with colleagues from Business Development, Product, Strategy, and Customer Service and places particular emphasis on personal responsibility, personal development, and a healthy dose of fun at work.

    • You strengthen personal responsibility within the team and actively contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture.
    • You maintain an overview of ongoing applications and assist with complex cases, new partners, or difficult decisions on our platform (ANT). You combine data knowledge with common sense.
    • You plan and are responsible for your team's OKRs – from definition and implementation to regular performance monitoring and communication.
    • You ensure the timely and accurate payment of commissions to our brokers and guarantee smooth internal and external billing processes.
    • You work closely with Product Management, Business Development, Customer Service, and Commercial Strategy to generate more applications, optimize processes and API integrations, and quickly resolve technical issues in the funnel.
    • You will build strong relationships with the sales leads of our key brokers, understand their needs, and jointly improve processes – with a practical, data-driven approach and a healthy dose of pragmatism.
    • You will analyze existing processes, identify potential for improvement, and implement targeted measures to increase efficiency and quality.
    • You will continuously develop yourself and your team – with the goal of creating the best solutions for our partners and iwoca.

We expect to pay from €65.000 - €80.000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
