Jobs in Germany
A hands-on and curious engineering student who enjoys working at the intersection of hardware, testing and production. You are eager to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical environment and gain exposure to real-world engineering challenges.
You have a strong interest in how things are built, tested and improved, and you are comfortable switching between design, prototyping and hands-on execution. You work with precision and attention to detail, especially when it comes to quality and documentation, and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty in a lab or production setting.
As a Working Student in our Operations department, you will support the technical side of operations, contributing to Industrial Engineering, Test Development, and Quality Assurance to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Engineering Support: Assist in the development and implementation of electro-mechanical test fixtures and production tools
Prototyping & CAD: Design and iterate mechanical components and assembly aids using CAD tools and 3D printing
Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain basic Python scripts to support test automation and data collection
Hands-on Testing & Assembly: Support the assembly, testing, and quality control of our Matrix Array modules
System Operation: Set up and operate test environments using HOLOPLOT systems to validate hardware and software performance
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, assembly instructions, and test reports
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, OnShape) and basic understanding of 3D printing workflows
Programming Basics: Initial experience with scripting, ideally in Python, and willingness to troubleshoot technical challenges
Electronics Fundamentals: Basic skills such as soldering and working with tools like multimeters or oscilloscopes
Hands-on Mindset: Willingness to engage in practical tasks, from assembly and testing to handling hardware setups
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and documentation
Communication: Fluent in English; German is a plus
Availability: Available to work 16–20 hours per week
At HOLOPLOT, you will gain hands-on experience in a highly innovative hardware environment and work closely with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines.
We offer a flexible working setup that allows you to balance your studies with practical experience, while taking ownership of meaningful tasks from day one. You will be part of an international, collaborative team and contribute directly to the production and quality of cutting-edge audio technology.
In addition, we provide competitive compensation and benefits such as lunch allowances and access to Urban Sports.
