As a Data Analyst / Data Engineer, you support the Research & Development Team in keeping our promise to customers: to save 20% energy and reduce CO2 emissions in their buildings. Tasks

You will be responsible for developing production-ready algorithms and data pipelines that optimize energy system components, helping our customers to reduce their CO2 emissions and maximize energy efficiency in their buildings.
You will be working in cross-functional teams, consisting of energy automation engineers and software developers, to create new features for our smart home energy management system.
Additionally, you will be supporting our research team by conducting experimental data analysis to gain new insights and improve/invent energy optimization algorithms.
Together with you, we see this role developing in Data Science/ Machine Learning/ Data Engineering.

Requirements

You have a minimum of three years of professional experience in data analysis.
You have comprehensive knowledge of Python and Git, as well as proficiency in SQL, GraphQL, and REST.
Additionally, you demonstrate proficiency in data science libraries such as Pandas, SciPy, and SciKit-Learn, and have experience working with time series data and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Effective communication skills are critical for success in this position. You communicate effectively with various stakeholders, guide discussions, and foster a collaborative work environment.
You show proactiveness, have a strong desire to learn, and are interested in technical contexts.
You are fluent in English and have basic knowledge of the German language.
