    • We’re working with a late-stage, VC-backed technology company operating across multiple international markets. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to hire a Head of Commercial Law to lead on commercial legal strategy and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

    You will take the lead on all commercial legal matters, shaping contracting strategy while supporting the business on complex, cross-border initiatives.

    Tasks

    • Leading the company’s commercial legal strategy across all markets.
    • Overseeing the drafting, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements (including customer, supplier, SaaS, and strategic partnerships).
    • Acting as a senior advisor to leadership on legal risk, deal structure, and commercial decision-making.
    • Building and optimising scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks.
    • Partnering closely with sales, procurement, product, and operations teams on key initiatives.
    • Supporting high-value and complex negotiations, including strategic partnerships and enterprise deals.

    Requirements

    • Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in).
    • 4+ years post-qualification experience, gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house within a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong track record in commercial contracting, including complex and high-value agreements.
    • Experience operating at a strategic level, advising senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
    • Experience working in high-growth, international environments (ideally within tech or similarly fast-moving sectors).
    • Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to risk.
