We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning to extract insights from complex datasets and map them to models to drive data-informed decision-making. You will play a crucial role in developing predictive models, conducting experiments, and being a part of the core team. Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to uncover knowledge and quantitative dependencies
- Apply math and AI for extrapolation and predictive models, and computation algorithms
- Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and optimise models
- Communicate findings clearly and compellingly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data science and machine learning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (familiarity with R is a plus)
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras) and statistical tools
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau)
- Ability to work with SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- You must speak German at a level C1 or higher
- You must speak English at a level C1 or higher
- You already live or are willing to relocate to Cologne, Germany
