About the Job
We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic Team Lead to drive our SEA efforts and lead a small, high-performing team of SEA Managers. This role is central to our paid marketing success—balancing leadership with active involvement in managing paid search.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional quality, improving processes, and scaling performance while fostering a culture of growth and accountability within your team. You’ll work closely with Vertical Managers and other stakeholders to align paid search strategies with broader business goals.
This role offers the perfect blend of leadership and operational ownership—you’ll be coaching your team and shaping their development, while staying deeply engaged in the day-to-day details that drive measurable results.
This is what you'll do
- Lead, coach and support a small team of SEA Managers with a focus on feedback, professional growth and clear processes
- Manage your own SEA accounts alongside team leadership, ensuring high-quality campaign execution and performance
- Prioritize and delegate tasks clearly to ensure accountability, clarity of ownership and timely delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day performance and scaling of paid search campaigns on Google and Bing.
- Improve processes and templates for efficient, scalable SEA operations.
- Track and report campaign results using tools like SEMrush, Qlik Sense and Excel
- Quickly resolve performance issues or escalate to maintain stable campaigns.
- Identify growth opportunities and test new strategies to improve ROI
- Collaborate closely with our Vertical Managers to align marketing with business needs
- Stay up to date with SEA trends, tools and best practices—and bring them into the team
This is what you’ve got
- Several years experience in digital performance marketing, managing and scaling SEA campaigns with a focus on ROI
- Experience leading small teams with emphasis on accountability and growth
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on use of Google Ads Editor and Excel/Sheets
- Skilled at managing own accounts and supporting team with data-driven insights
- Collaborative, working closely with Vertical Managers and other teams
- Fluent in German and English, confident in aligning and challenging stakeholders
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Creative problem solver with out-of-the-box thinking
- Open to giving and receiving feedback, maintaining high standards
