About the Job

In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of the SEO function at We Love X. You'll scale and enhance our newly initiated SEO activities, and oversee the flagship site from vision to launch, ensuring continuous improvement post-launch. Working directly with the CEO, you will drive strategic initiatives that significantly impact the future growth and success of WLX. Our marketing-first approach guarantees you'll have all the resources and support necessary for success.

In this role you wil...

• Establish and lead the SEO team
• Develop and execute the vision for a new flagship site
• Craft and implement a superior SEO strategy
• Manage on-site and off-site SEO roadmaps
• Coordinate the expansion of SEO projects into new markets
• Oversee content creation from concept to quality assurance
• Engage with the CEO as part of the management team

• Proven SEO management experience, especially in affiliate marketing
• Proficient in product roadmap development and stakeholder collaboration
• Passionate about producing excellent editorial content
• Expertise in advanced backlink strategies
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proven knowledge in technical SEO
• Strong leadership, including hiring and performance management.
• Experienced with C-level collaboration.
• Fluent in German, with a good command of English
• Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Enjoy balancing between strategic and operational tasks
