Your mission

At VR Smart Guide, we're on a mission to revolutionize how small businesses manage their liquidity. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in creating an outstanding journey, elevating user experiences by blending qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies and driving user-centricity across our organization.

Your role and contribution

Using qualitative and quantitative methods of user research (e.g. surveys or interviews), you analyze user needs and develop design accordingly
You create concepts and visualize them using mockups, storyboards, flowcharts, information architectures, wireframes, as well as interactive prototypes (Lo- and Hi-Fi), etc. and validate them with interviews and usability tests (also in cooperation with our partners)
You design user interfaces taking into account existing design guidelines, trends and paradigms as well as usability guidelines and prepare them for the developers
You create and maintain pattern libraries and design systems for a consistent appearance of the user interface
You conduct (design thinking) workshops and thereby drive innovation and collaborative work in the team.

Create a Holistic User Experience: Leading the creation of an outstanding end-to-end user experience by exploring it from all angles and taking into account business, consumer, and technological perspectives
Accelerate Delivery: Implement a culture of fast-paced execution by switching gears from deep design thinking to rapid prototyping and GoToMarket execution
Cultivate a Culture of User-Centricity: Leverage user research methods to deeply understand user needs, translating insights into innovative design solutions, while fostering a collaborative culture of user-centric thinking within the team.

Your profile

University degree in the field of communication design, interaction design, interactive media, human-computer interaction, psychology or similar; or comparable qualification acquired in practice
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in product development
Experience in the finance/fintech industry, with B2B experience preferred
Move fast and fix things: Experience in an agile development environment and familiarity with early-stage startup dynamics
Work with a s trong understanding of design theory and concepts. Highly proficient in interaction design, rapid prototyping, low-fidelity prototyping, high-fidelity prototyping, and interactive prototyping
You have a flair for good design and bring a good dose of empathy for users
You have excellent collaboration skills
Confident handling of Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud or other tools
Experienced in prototyping, for example with Invision or Axure is desirable
You confidently present your concepts and ideas and are open to feedback from the team and customers
You are fluent in German and English
You are located in Germany with a valid working permit
