As a member of smartvokat, you’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team of legal professionals, management and technical consultants who apply a cross-disciplinary approach to legal, compliance and risk process delivery.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and optimizing testing processes, with a strong focus on quality assurance practices. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for refining processes and improving product quality. Tasks
- Define and implement cutting-edge test processes and procedures, aligning with industry best practices.
- Lead the QA team and coordinate with manual testers in development teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of ongoing quality assurance, including operational and exploratory testing to proactively catch bugs before they are found by others.
- Screen automated test outcomes, create bug reports, and ensure critical issues are addressed and fixed promptly.
- Handle 3rd level support, addressing production and UAT bug fixes, and ad hoc inquiries.
- Develop test cases and documentation to support the team's testing efforts.
- Facilitate ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework for end-to-end testing to proactively catch issues and streamline deployment readiness.
- Provide support for feature testing alongside manual testers when project demands or time allows.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in establishing and optimizing testing processes, with a strong focus on quality assurance practices.
- Proficient in manual testing, with a demonstrated ability to identify edge cases and uncover bugs.
- Experience with testing tools, preferably Jira QMetry or similar platforms, for test case definition and management.
- Familiarity with automated test frameworks, ideally ServiceNow ATF, to support regular, automated testing strategies.
- Ability to create comprehensive testing documentation for auditing purposes.
- Skilled in challenging and collaborating with business stakeholders and developers on acceptance criteria to ensure testability.
- Effective leadership skills, capable of leading a QA team and mentoring cross-functional manual testers.
- Strong quality and service mentality, with a passion for refining processes and improving product quality.
- Excellent communicator, able to liaise effectively across teams and advocate for testing requirements.
