    Role Overview

    We’re seeking a motivated and highly autonomous BI & Data Warehouse Engineer to drive our data architecture and analytics initiatives. If you thrive on ownership, can design and implement robust BI and DWH systems, and love empowering teams with reliable insights, you’ll feel right at home.

    Tasks

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the design and development of our Business Intelligence architecture using SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, Amplitude, and PowerBI
    • Own the end-to-end development and maintenance of our automated insurance invoicing pipeline, integrating it with BI and analytics systems to provide real-time visibility into reimbursement, claim status, and financial performance
    • Collaborate with Marketing to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end analytics for digital campaigns (email, social, paid, content, etc.)
    • Develop and optimize dashboards and reports to deliver actionable business insights across the organization
    • Own and evolve our cloud-based data warehouse (primarily on AWS EC2 & RDS)
    • Drive connections and integrations via REST APIs to internal/external tools and SaaS products
    • Create, transform, and document complex datasets that are robust, transparent, and scalable for analytics use
    • Model and manage datasets for business and product reporting, experimentation, and regulatory needs
    • Coach and train team members (technical and non-technical) in BI tools, concepts, and best practices
    • Build and maintain marketing data pipelines that connect product, web, CRM, and external advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.)

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 3+ years’ experience in Data, Analytics, and Business Intelligence, ideally with startup/scale-up exposure
    • Deep hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, PowerBI, PostgreSQL, and AWS (EC2/RDS)
    • Track record of building, owning, and optimizing DWH/BI architectures from scratch in fast-moving environments
    • Experienced with API integrations, automation, and version control (GitHub)
    • High degree of autonomy, curiosity, and ownership—comfortable as “the” data expert in a small team
    • Fluent in English, Fluency in German is a plus
