Tasks
As the central Project Manager for our agile team you will be the engine that keeps our AI-driven projects moving. You will act as the bridge between our specialized AI engineers, software developers, and infrastructure experts, ensuring that our cutting-edge automotive solutions are delivered on time and to specification.
Your focus will be project execution, technical requirements, and process improvement. You will work in a high-trust environment where your input is valued, functioning as a fast-moving accelerator unit backed by the stability of our parent organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan & Track: Take full ownership of project planning, timeline tracking, and milestone delivery, coordinating closely with our Tech Lead and engineering teams.
- Process Architecture: Analyze our current ad-hoc workflows and build efficient, scalable processes (e.g., Agile/Scrum) that fit our specific needs.
- Requirements Engineering: Collect, analyze, and document technical requirements from customers and partners, translating them into clear tasks for the team.
- Bridge the Gap: Facilitate communication between AI engineers, C++/Python developers, and non-technical stakeholders to unblock dependencies.
- Customer Engagement: Occasionally travel to partner and customer sites to present progress, clarify requirements, and discuss integrations (collaborating with our Field Application Engineer).
- Strategic Documentation: Establish and maintain clear project documentation (KPIs, roadmaps, risk assessments) to ensure transparency across the team.

- Requirements Expertise: Experience in gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Tech-Savviness: Sufficient technical understanding to grasp software development lifecycles and communicate effectively with AI experts and system engineers.
- Adaptability: Willingness to handle a mix of high-level management and hands-on operational tasks (e.g. creating tickets, refining backlogs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive Background: Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE) or OMS systems.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience setting up or optimizing project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Integrity).
- Agile Knowledge: Practical experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Corporate Interface: Experience navigating the relationship between a small agile unit and a larger corporate structure.
- Technical Background: A degree in engineering or previous experience as a developer is a plus, but not required if the technical understanding is there.
