    Established in 2005, remote control productions (rcp) is an independent Munich production house for interactive entertainment, providing services for companies in the video game industry and adjacent spaces. Covering everything from HR, finance and business development, rcp enables studios to get on with what they do best: creating great games. Our purpose is to empower, support, and emancipate game makers to create sustainably.

    Rcp is also the ‘mothership’ for a family of in countries all over the world. These group members operate across the interactive entertainment industry - developing their own projects with the support of rcp. This group of studios is a diverse team of over 500 individuals working in studios across Europe and Asia.
    The rcp family has worked on more than 400 projects, including the Bus Simulator series, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Evolution, Windstorm, Sacred Legends, Shadow and Bone, The Ascent, and Songs of Silence. Our interactive experiences include an internal VR project for BMW, a long-running platform for Teva, and a training game for the Bundeswehr.

    Your role

    As a Trainee in Project & Studio Management at rcp you become part of our Padawan Crew.

    You will experience the process of founding a game development company, financing the first projects, and creating a name for the company towards long-term growth and sustaining the business. You will delve into different departments, project management, and corporate strategy in game development, and learn how to evaluate and drive a company as a whole.

    How does it work?

    • The traineeship lasts for 18-24 months and you will work on different topics according to your skills, wishes, and personal fit.
    • You do not need to have fully developed skills, but you should have a basic understanding and a strong interest in one of the following directions.

    What do you need to join the rcp Padawans?

    • Speak German and English.
    • open-minded and eager to pick up new abilities.
    • Residing in or near Munich.
    • Perform well both in a team setting and on your own.
    • A proactive, professional, and positive attitude.

    What's in for you?

    • A trainee program with a duration of 18-24 months - depending on your qualifications and experience.
    • The salary is structured in steps: starts with € 2200,- and increases per semester up to € 2700,- at the end.
    • Public Transport compensation in Munich (German Ticket).
