Are you into marketing, fluent in French, and eager to gain hands-on experience in an international environment? idealo is looking for a motivated and dynamic Intern or Working Student to join our Brand & Communications team for the French market.
You’ll be part of a dedicated 5-person team and work closely with our Sr. Brand & Communication Manager, supporting PR activities, content creation and marketing campaigns. Your work will help keep idealo known, used, and loved by French consumers.
About your new role
Assist in the execution of consumer PR campaigns tailored to the French market.
Help create engaging content and copy for various marketing channels
Monitor and analyze e-commerce trends, competitor activity and consumer behavior in France.
Support the development of brand campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
Contribute to SEO-driven content strategies and ensure optimization for search engines.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align messaging and brand tone.
Skills & Requirements
Native French (written and spoken) with a strong level of English.
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or a related field with at least 4 months of experience in communication or marketing (internship or student job).
A blend of strategic thinking and an analytical, performance-driven mindset.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, detail orientation, and connecting with audiences.
Basic understanding of SEO (or motivation to learn) and familiarity with tools like Canva, Tableau, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently and deliver reliably.
