SAP BTP Expert
Location: Cologne, Germany (90% remote)
Start Date: 01 January 2026
Duration: 18 months

Tasks
- Administration & Monitoring: Set up and monitor SAP BTP subaccounts, system status, and performance; implement alerting and logging
- Integration & Configuration: Connect on-premise systems via the SAP Cloud Connector; configure destinations and connectivity services; integrate applications into the existing SAP landscape
- Security & Compliance: Implement security policies (e.g., TLS, OAuth 2.0); review audit logs; ensure adherence to compliance requirements
- Deployment & Lifecycle Management: Support application deployment, patching, and update cycles
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Perform error analysis and performance tuning for critical applications
- Documentation: Create operational manuals and best-practice documentation for SAP BTP
Requirements
- Completed vocational IT training, a degree in (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Hands-on experience in SAP BTP administration and cloud integration
- Initial exposure to SAP base technologies such as S/4HANA, SAP RISE, NetWeaver ABAP, and Java
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) and SAP Fiori
- Knowledge of IAS/IPS, SAP Cloud Connector, and relevant security standards
- Strong analytical and structured working style
