Our client, an international manufacturing company, is entering the execution phase of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations rollout.

After a preparation phase in late 2025, the focus from January 2026 onwards is on Finance setup, stabilization, and integration with Supply Chain processes, targeting a Go-Live in July 2026.

We are looking for a Senior D365FO Finance Consultant to support the Finance stream during rollout and Go-Live.

Location: Hybrid (Remote + Travel to Germany)
Start: January 2026
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 3–6 months (extension possible)
Languages: English (very good), French a plus, German nice to have

Tasks

Configure and validate D365FO Finance modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting)
Set up and review posting profiles, financial dimensions, calendars, currencies, and tax configurations
Ensure correct integration between Finance and Supply Chain / Warehouse processes
Support data migration, opening balances, and finance-related testing (UAT)
Work closely with the Project Lead and SCM/WMS consultants
Support key users with workshops, training sessions, and documentation
Assist during cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare phases
Ensure finance processes are audit-ready and compliant

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations – Finance
Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting
Hands-on experience with Finance setup and rollout projects
Solid understanding of Finance–SCM integration
Experience in German-speaking customer environments
Very good English; French is a plus
