Location: Remote (within Germany)

Languages: Fluent English and German (B2)

Salary: up to 90,000€ (depending on experience)

On behalf of our large international consulting client, I am looking for a SAP Basis Consultant for a perm role.

Tasks

• Ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
• Project work , such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
• Responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration.
• 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of trouble shooting and performance services.
• You support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems.
• Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc.
• Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2).

Your Profile:

• Professional Experience:
• Several years of professional experience in consulting and administration of SAP Basis, including up-to-date expertise.
• Database Knowledge:
• Proficient in handling at least 2 databases, preferably Oracle, HANA-DB or DB2.
• Specific Skills:
• Knowledge of upgrades for both ABAP and Java advantageous.
• Language Skills:
• Very good command of both German (B2) and English
