    • YOUR MISSION

    As a Senior Analytics Engineer (f/m/d)*, you will empower company-wide stakeholders to work effectively with data. You will design and develop Parloa's analytics platform that will give self-serve access to data across the organization. The analytics platform will power Parloa's data and insights products as well as decision intelligence. The tooling and data models you build will make an impact to transform the entire customer service industry leveraging data and AI. 

    You will work closely with Elisabeth and Onur to build the analytics platform and our first data models.

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Together with your team, take ownership of designing, building and improving the analytics platform at Parloa, including data warehouse, data models and dashboard tooling
    • Build and optimize data models for performance, cost and usability
    • Take ownership executing technical projects end-to-end for parts of the analytics platform: understanding user requirements, systems design, vendor evaluation, proof of concept, implementation, maintenance and support, continuous improvement
    • Work closely with stakeholders in business and product to define requirements and build data models that serve their needs 

    Our Tech stack (Data): Microsoft Azure, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis (more technologies to be added as we build our data platform)

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • 7+ years of experience as an analytics engineer
    • Expertise with data modeling 
    • Fluency in SQL, proficiency in Python
    • Experience with cloud data platforms
    • Track record of building data warehouses/analytics platforms/data products in accordance with legal requirements with a focus on data quality and observability
    • Experience in evaluating third party systems for analytics and in leading medium-sized technical projects (3-9 months roadmap)
    • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Experience with setting up infrastructure using Terraform is a  plus
