At Orange Elephant, we design and deliver leadership training programs that combine strong theoretical foundations with a clear focus on real-world impact. We work with leading scale-ups and growth-oriented companies such as Flixbus and Mytheresa, operating close to real leadership challenges in fast-moving environments.
To ensure outstanding impact of our programs and that our team can do their best work, we are looking for a Training Operations and Team Manager who genuinely wants to make a difference. Someone who takes responsibility, has an eye for detail, and finds satisfaction in making things run smoothly.
Tasks
You are a central point of stability for both our trainings and our team. On the one hand, you ensure flawless, thoughtful training operations and clear communication with clients and participants. On the other hand, you support our team with structure, reliability and creativity to create an atmosphere where we can deliver great work. You do all this out of the motivation of creating impact for our customers and our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of training operations and create the structure that enables our trainers to focus fully on delivering impactful trainings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all our training participants and clients regarding organizational matters.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize our training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
- Contribute to a positive team experience by bringing care, creativity and thoughtful ideas into internal processes, meetings, and events.
- Coordinate calendars and inboxes for team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Create, translate, and proofread training documents in German and English.
- Organize travel arrangements, offsites, and internal or client-related events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event coordination, training operations, or administrative support, ideally in an educational or training context.
- A proactive and engaged working style, with the confidence to ask questions, clarify needs and actively support others.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially in written communication with clients and training participants.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Confident use of Office 365, experience with Miro or similar collaboration tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also being a reliable and collaborative team member.
