Tasks
- Develop and maintain Python codebase for the tour planning tool.
- Implement algorithms for routing optimization, considering factors such as distance, time, and truck capacity.
- Integrate external APIs or libraries for geospatial data and visualization.
- Collaborate with other team members to gather requirements and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Test and debug code to ensure high quality and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (X years) as a Python developer, with a strong understanding of Python programming language and its ecosystem.
- Experience with algorithm development and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with geospatial data processing and visualization libraries (e.g., GeoPandas, matplotlib).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with optimization algorithms such as nearest neighbor, genetic algorithms, or ant colony optimization.
- Familiarity with the cloud platform and services in MS Azure
