Your role

As a Product Manager at Munich Electrification, you will play a crucial role in leading the offering process, estimating development efforts, defining technical concepts, and ensuring seamless transitions from acquisition to project execution. Your responsibilities will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying suitable products for customer projects, and aligning product strategy with organizational goals.

Your future tasks at a glance

Lead the technical and project management related part of the offering process: Review RFQ's and identify suitable ME products with respect to the general ME product strategy

Lead the effort estimation & provide input for the Go/No-Go decision: Development efforts & resource assessment, validation & testing concept & expenses

Define the technical and industrialization concept for quotes together with the CEngO and the COO

Identify business cases for products in R&D during discussions with customers and provide feedback to the CTO and CGO

Identify the most suitable products for the customer projects (carry-over, new development) in alignment with the ME product strategy

Align the product strategy together with the CTO and CGO

Facilitate a seamless transition from the acquisition phase to project execution

Represent ME as a technical leader and innovative company towards customers and prospective clients

What you bring with you

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience: Demonstrated expertise in technical product management within HV batteries or related industries (+5 years)

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of battery management systems principles, product development processes specific to automotive industries, and project management methodologies relevant to battery technologies.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in evaluating business cases specific to battery management systems, estimating development efforts for BMS products, and making data-driven decisions in the context of BMS solutions.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and representing the organization's BMS capabilities to external partners and customers.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment inherent to battery technologies, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving industry standards, customer requirements, and technological advancements in the BMS domain.
