Your role
As Software Developer Telematics Control Unit you work on the development of a system is storing/processing data locally and transmitting it to a backend in multiple different customer vehicles. Your work is focused on the embedded software for the telematics control unit.
Your future tasks at a glanceDevelop applications like localization or data harmonization Develop base software solutions like real time data logging, secure communication or message brokeringDevelop secure bootloader solutions and over the air update capabilitiesIntegrate the software modules considering theirs real time capability and resources management. Work on the low level drivers and bring up new MCU/ECU architecturesEnsure the software development is in compliance with the necessary automotive security standards Integrate the software builds, deployment and testing in our CI/CD tool landscapeWhat you bring with youSuccessfully completed university degree in an engineering field (software, electronics, mechanical), math or applied physicsExperience or knowledge in the field of automotive gateways, datalogging, wireless and radio communicationIdeally more than 3 years of working experience in software engineering (in C/C++, Posix, Yocto)Ideally knowledge of different communication technologies and protocols/standards (TCP/IP, Ethernet, WiFi, C-V2X, ITS-G5)Ideally experience with working with automotive norms like ASPICE, ISO21434Knowledge in the field of microcontrollers and applicable tools (embedded Linux, ARM)Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for CAV vehiclesPreference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English)What we offer
