Aufgaben

You're the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps our lab running and evolving. As our chief tinkerer, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our scientists and engineers to adapt, maintain, and troubleshoot our lab-scale carbon capture prototype. You’ll make experiments smoother, systems smarter, and operations faster - bringing order, flexibility, and a good dose of creativity to our daily work.

Support and maintain our lab prototype and operations
Modify the prototype to enable different test configurations and setups
Build, assemble and test components (mechanical, tubing, valves, fittings, etc.)
Identify and fix issues quickly - from loose cables to unexpected leaks
Assist in experiment preparation, execution and clean-up
Keep the lab tidy, stocked and running efficiently
Work closely with our scientists and engineers to turn ideas into practical solutions

Qualifikation

You love to get your hands dirty. It’s how you understand things. Beyond, you're organised, reliable, and enjoy helping others get things done. Whether you’ve worked in a lab, workshop or on machines, you understand the value of doing things precisely and safely.

Complete vocational training (e.g. Chemielaborant_in, Physiklaborant_in, Mechatroniker_in, Industriemechaniker_in, or similar)
Strong practical and technical skillset
Experience with lab equipment, tools, basic fittings
A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset to everything you touch
Curious and ready to learn, you’re not afraid to ask questions or propose improvements
Language: basic English proficiency is required, as our team is international
