    Tasks

    You’ll be the right hand to our founders, ensuring the company grows strategically, effectively and with heart. Your mission is to connect across teams, projects and partners, without losing sight of our vision. You’ll own and deliver high-impact initiatives, help us grow our world-class team and culture, and strengthen our relationships with investors, partners and stakeholders. In short: you'll be critical to turning a groundbreaking carbon capture technology into an organisation ready to lead a nascent industry. Specifically, you will:

    • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution on our most important strategic priorities
    • Own (and identify) special assignments and “no one else got time” problems
    • Shape and steward our evolving culture as we grow - fostering clarity, trust, and collaboration
    • Support the founders in investor relations, fundraising prep and board communication
    • Be a thought partner for the leadership team - offering perspective, challenge, and structure
    • Strengthen internal communication and organisational clarity
    • Help design and deliver on hiring plans, onboarding and talent development

    Requirements

    We’re not going to sugarcoat: this isn’t a job for everyone. Our industry is old-school, the tech complex, and the mission dead serious. We are young, make mistakes and are still figuring out a lot. We don’t see the Chief of Staff role as a glorified stepping stone or “poke-all-own-none” gig. We’re looking for an experienced doer with a pragmatic, thoughtful attitude who can keep cool in unstructured, demanding situations.

    You don’t need a technical background to help us decarbonise industry - to us, your curiosity, people skills and judgment are what matter most. There’s plenty of paths to a good fit. Here’s what we think a it might look like:

    • 4+ years of experience in fast-paced and demanding environments (startup operator, venture capital, scale-up management, or similar)
    • Proven ability to own and deliver complex projects with many moving parts
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - equally comfortable talking to investors, suppliers, engineers or customers
    • Empathetic, with excellent listening skills and a talent for reading the room
    • Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive - you see problems before they become crises
    • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
    • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and the messiness of early-stage company building
    • Fluency and eloquence in English (German is a strong plus)
