    Your Role:

    We are seeking for a highly motivated and skilled instrumentation and telemetry intern to support our instrumentation team. In this role you will have the chance to be supporting design and assembly activities of instrumentation systems (measurements, DAQ, special systems), telemetry system (airborne and ground part), and telemetry ground station. Your main point of contact will be instrumentation and telemetry engineers.

    Duration of internship is at least 6 months for full-time (40h/week).

     

    Your Day to Day:

    • Requirements gathering and evaluation (measurements, special systems).
    • Design support for instrumentation activities: sensors, connector, and cables selection, measurement chains tryouts, parameter control.
    • Schematics design support for the instrumentation and telemetry wiring.
    • Support with procurement.
    • Lead of smaller projects (selection of special system).
    • Documentation support for instrumentation and telemetry designs (design description documents, system description documents, etc.).
    • Specific ad-hoc projects and tasks.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Actively enrolled in a degree program in, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
    • Hands-on troubleshooting and assembly experience beneficial.
    • Experience with measurements, sensors, instrumentation required.
    • Good knowledge in aircraft video system and Telemetry Ground Station (TGS) transmission.
    • Experience how to lead a project required (documentation, interaction with supplier, measurement requester).
    • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
    • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to address technical challenges.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
    • Fluent English language skills are essential, German language skills are beneficial.
