    Your Role and your team:

    As a Configuration Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our team, reporting directly to the Head of Configuration Management. Our team's primary objective is to ensure the seamless delivery of top-quality products to the market. This involves meticulous attention to detail, from validating product features to overseeing the entire process and planning phase.

    With inputs from various departments, particularly our design team, we ensure the consistent performance and quality of our aircraft throughout their lifecycle.

    Join us as we spearhead innovative approaches in urban e-mobility, shaping the future of transportation. Your responsibilities will include executing and enforcing Configuration Management activities, as well as supporting the implementation of new processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

     

    Your Day to Day:

    • Support in developing and implementing efficient processes and procedures for Configuration and Change management and ensure compliance with configuration management requirements.
    • Manage technical product data to maintain consistency in performance, functional, and physical attributes throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Ensure that our configuration control and status meet the necessary legislative requirements for aircraft certification.
    • As an expert with a keen eye for detail, your role is to analyze, review, and manage engineering data on behalf of the configuration management department. This ensures that items under configuration control are properly managed. Your responsibilities include tasks arising from Design Reviews and tasks assigned specifically to Configuration Management.
    • Oversee and manage the rapid changes required during the high-paced and high-volume Lab/Bench Testing and Flight Test phases. This includes maintaining the correct configuration of the aircraft with complete traceability.
    • Collaborate with design and production teams to manage changes and verify configuration status independently, including suppliers if and when necessary.
    • Support Implementation of the PLM system, driving future improvements as necessary.
    • Support the generation of KPIs and reporting for Configuration Management.
    • Manage and participate in change control boards and ad-hoc review meetings as required.

    Your Profile:

    • At least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management, Change Management, and Requirement Management processes within the aerospace industry.
    • Knowledge of relevant aerospace legislation and standards (e.g., EASA Part 21) and Configuration Management standards (SAE EIA 649, CMII, etc.).
    • Experience with Product, System, Hardware and Software Configuration Management.
    • Experience with PLM Systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, Polarion, and NX is beneficial.
    • A strong motivation to contribute to organizational development and process improvement.
    • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • A target-oriented and analytical problem-solving approach.
    • Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in German or any other language would be beneficial.
