    In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of advanced fintech products, contributing directly to the success of high-impact payment solutions. You will design and implement automated testing frameworks, execute manual and automated tests, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality. This position provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a remote-first, fast-paced environment while shaping testing processes that drive product excellence across multiple platforms and technologies.

    Accountabilities

    As a Middle AQA Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across multiple platforms and devices.
    • Designing, supporting, and maintaining automated test frameworks (Playwright/TypeScript) and associated infrastructure.
    • Creating and integrating CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent and efficient testing processes.
    • Implementing the Shift Left approach to testing, ensuring early detection of issues in the development cycle.
    • Developing test plans, including objectives, strategies, test cases, and success criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
    • Performing performance testing and recommending improvements to optimize system functionality.
    • Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and observations.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation frameworks for UI and API testing (Playwright, Cypress, Webdriver.IO) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Strong experience in manual testing methodologies, including SDLC and Agile practices.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review specifications, code, and documentation meticulously.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
    • Knowledge of testing principles, levels, and basic test design techniques.
