In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of advanced fintech products, contributing directly to the success of high-impact payment solutions. You will design and implement automated testing frameworks, execute manual and automated tests, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality. Accountabilities
As a Middle AQA Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across multiple platforms and devices.
- Designing, supporting, and maintaining automated test frameworks (Playwright/TypeScript) and associated infrastructure.
- Creating and integrating CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent and efficient testing processes.
- Implementing the Shift Left approach to testing, ensuring early detection of issues in the development cycle.
- Developing test plans, including objectives, strategies, test cases, and success criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Performing performance testing and recommending improvements to optimize system functionality.
- Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and observations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation frameworks for UI and API testing (Playwright, Cypress, Webdriver.IO) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong experience in manual testing methodologies, including SDLC and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review specifications, code, and documentation meticulously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Knowledge of testing principles, levels, and basic test design techniques.
